In Japanese folklore, the crane is considered a “bird of happiness” that can live for a thousand years. Crane motifs are a kissho pattern, which is a general term used for designs that symbolize good fortune, serendipity and luck.

Textiles are printed on 100% silk and mounted on an ornate carved pink bamboo wood frame, featuring a 24k gold plated rivit pin.
